Yoga Therapy
Research increasingly supports the benefits that yoga has on a broad range of health conditions; either helping to reduce or relieve symptoms, or enhancing a sense of wellbeing while living with chronic conditions.
Yoga Therapy empowers people to support their wellbeing through the practices of yoga and meditation.
How does Yoga Therapy work?
Yoga Therapy offers a holistic one-to-one tailored approach. During the initial consultation I gain a detailed understanding of your current health issues and your wellbeing goals. We take time to assess if there are any breathing, posture or movement patterns that are impacting you.
Together we then explore a range of tools that would support you and devise a short, manageable self-practice that you can take on your own, at home, in-between sessions. Practices are either scribed or provided in an audio recording so that you have the confidence to practice on your own between sessions.
Practices draw on a broad range of yoga practices; from breath-work, movement, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation techniques, depending on your needs.
No experience of yoga is necessary. Valuable tools and support can often be gained from a one-off session, however clients often report greater benefits when working together over a number of sessions.

“Working with Anna changed my life. I was in a very bad state of depression when I met her and through yoga and all her restorative work I was able to work through it.
Without Anna’s entirely bespoke and holistic approach to the body and mind I would not have been able to recover from the physical and emotional weakness I suffered. Anna’s private sessions have entirely changed my relationship to my body and fitness. Yoga is now a very important and essential part of my life.”
