Join me for a morning of Yin Yoga at the beautiful studio at The Galliant in Camber Sands.
In the winter months, nature is inviting us to slow down, to lessen the productivity and ‘doing’ and to soak up more stillness. Modern life however doesn’t always allow us to follow these natural rhythms. In this 2-hour workshop with you will be offered time and space to do just that, to let go of focusing on your output, and allow your precious care and attention to fold back inwards towards yourself.
The beautiful practice of yin yoga allows us to soak up stillness as we hold poses (often close to the earth) for between 3-6 minutes. We offer ourselves the time and conditions to soften and surrender and to meet ourselves with a mindful, compassionate presence. Through the practice we will reach into the support of bolsters, blankets and a range of props to feel a sense of accessing support both inwardly from ourselves and externally from our environment.
