As the days get shorter and colder it is understandable that we begin to curl a little inwards. We find ourselves wrapping up protectively as we brace against the elements and get cosy. While this can be lovely, as with all things, we want to find balance, still offering space to open and warm the heart.
This day retreat will offer an opportunity to do just that through both movement and stillness. The morning will offer a slow, flowing heart-opening practice to allow us to breathe deeply and energy to flow more freely. The afternoon will invite you to soak up deep rest through restorative yoga, meditation, and guided relaxations.
Within the day we will weave in a range of compassion-focussed practices to support our hearts in glowing inwardly and outwardly over the winter months.
The day is open to all levels, beginners are most welcome. Set in the beautiful Yoga Campus Studio in Finsbury Park, the venue has all the props you will need and a light lunch will be provided.
